The Abia State Police Command has verified that a Nigerian Air Force Tarmac Four cadet died in a prominent hotel swimming pool in Umuahia, the state capital.  The NAF Tarmac Four cadet, simply known as CDT Chidiebere, apparently died at the swimming pool on Tuesday. Soldiers conducted a raid yesterday following the March 14th incident in which 17 military personnel were killed at Okuama in the Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.  During the raid, they reportedly entered another village, Olota, and detained at least ten people. Idris Okuneye, a popular crossdresser better known as Bobrisky, admitted to being male in court on Friday.  The crossdresser has sparked debate regarding his gender identity. Bobrisky is known for masquerading as a woman and claims to have undergone various procedures to change his gender. At one point, the cross-dresser even stated that he was ready to have a child. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board announced Thursday that the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Notification Slip, which gives applicants the date, place, and time of their examination, is ready for printing. A former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has condemned the backlash he received from Nigerians over his patronage of made-in-Nigeria shoes. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has rejected the Labour Party’s leadership’s claim on Tuesday that its President, Joe Ajaero, had a deal with the ruling All Progressives Congress to undermine the Labour Party.
