The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially unveiled Éric Sékou Chelle as the new head coach of the Super Eagles. An Oyo State High Court on Monday granted bail to an ex-queen of the Ooni of Ife, Naomi Silekunola. The bail also applied to an Ibadan-based media personality, Oriyomi Hamzat, and the principal of Islamic High School, Abdulahi Fasasi, who were detained in connection to the Christmas funfair stampede in Ibadan, Oyo State. A 22-year-old woman identified as Iyanu Adedeji reportedly stabbed her husband, Funsho Jimoh, to death in the Gbonogun area of Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
