Suspected assassin Wasiu Akinwande was remanded on Tuesday by an Ikeja Magistrate Court in Ogba, Lagos State, on numerous murder charges.

A 44-year-old man, Wasiu Akinwande, better known as Olori Esho, was remanded in the Kirikiri Correctional Centre on Tuesday by an Ikeja Magistrate Court in Ogba, Lagos State, on numerous murder charges. Magistrate Mobolaji Tanimola ordered Akinwande’s remand for the first 30 days, pending legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions. Akinwande was charged with 11 counts of conspiracy, murder, attempted murder, illegal firearm possession, membership in an unlawful society, possession of a poisoned blade, grievous bodily injury, threat to life, and possession of other weaponry.
