The coaching crew of the Spanish women’s national team has all resigned in the face of the scandal surrounding Luis Rubiales. The military junta in Niger has expelled the Nigerian ambassador, Mohamed Usman, from the country. The military leader of the country also ordered the German Ambassador, Olivier Schnakenberg, to leave. The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has suspended Spanish FA chief Luis Rubiales after Jenni Hermoso was threatened with legal action. The death of Ayomide Akeredolu, a 500-level student at the Federal University of Technology, FUTA, in Akure, sparked protests in the school on Friday. Akeredolu, a final year student who was planning to write his final exam, reportedly slumped and was immediately rushed to the institution’s health center, but gave up the ghost on arrival.
