Alex Anozie, the Eze Ndigbo of Ibadanland and President of the Non-Indigenes Traditional Council of Ibadan, Oyo State, has died at the age of 74. He was said to have died in his sleep at his Ososami home in Ibadan, the state capital. Anozie was born in Igboukwu, Anambra State’s Aguata Local Government Area. Kayode Ojo has been remanded in prison by an Ondo State Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Odigbo, Odigbo Local Government Area, for attempting to commit suicide inside a police cell.
