A 34-year-old groom-to-be, simply identified as Bosun, has reportedly died in an autocrash in Ibadan, Oyo State, on the eve of his wedding. He was also killed in the auto crash that occurred along the Idi-Ape Road while they were returning from his bachelor’s eve party. The Anambra State Police Command has apprehended Rev. Fr. Samuel Aniebonem, a Catholic priest, and five other people on suspicion of belonging to the separatist Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB). No fewer than 900 migrants have died crossing the Mediterranean Sea this summer, the United Nations (UN) has revealed.
