Dr. Oyebanji Filani, Chairman of Nigeria’s Forum of Health Commissioners, has stated that the Federal Government has provided test kits and other materials to 22 states in response to the recent cholera outbreak in various regions of the country. The Nigerian Embassy, in conjunction with a Senegalese-based non-governmental organisation, has rescued 24 Nigerian girls who were subjected to sexual exploitation in the Tamaccounda and Kedougou Regions of Senegal.
