Three suspects have been detained by members of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps from the Zamfara State Command for allegedly manufacturing and using counterfeit naira and dollar bills. The suspects have been named as Kamalu Sani, Uzaifa Muazu, and Suleiman Yusuf by the command’s spokesman, Ikor Oche. According to the Kano State Fire Service, three female passengers died and 13 others were injured when a commercial bus was tragically involved in a fire accident on Tuesday. Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, the service’s Public Relations Officer, verified the incident in a statement to Kano journalists.
