The All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State, has announced the suspension of its campaign activities ahead of the forthcoming elections due to fuel scarcity and cash crunch occasioned by the Naira redesign. Senegal blocks internet access again

Hundreds of residents of Ondo State on Tuesday stormed the Benin-Ore-Shagamu Expressway at Ore in Odigbo Local Government Area of the state, to protest against naira and fuel scarcity across the country. Three suspects in the kidnapping of Nigerian Navy Lieutenant Cynthia Akor have been apprehended by Naval Unit operatives in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

NDLEA intercepts drugs hidden in snails, others meant for UK, US, DRC

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) seized 10.8kg of illicit drugs and arrested 88 offenders in Lagos State in January 2023.
