The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has issued a warning about the increasing number of yellow fever cases in the country, coinciding with the ongoing cholera outbreak that has affected nearly all states. Dr. Jide Idris, the Director-General of the NCDC, issued the warning at a press conference on Tuesday in Abuja. Nigerian passport holders intending to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are now mandated to first obtain a Document Verification Number (DVN) before applying for a visa.
