A man attacked and wounded six people at the Gare du Nord train station in Paris on Wednesday morning, leaving one with serious injuries, before being shot by off-duty police officers, authorities said. U.S. flights were grounded or delayed on Wednesday as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) scrambled to fix a system outage, with passengers told to check with airlines for updates. The FAA said it had ordered airlines to pause all domestic departures until 9 a.m. ET (1400 GMT) to allow the agency to validate the integrity of flight and safety information. Gunmen have killed four persons on Nzomiwu Street in the Eziani community, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State. It was gathered that the gunmen invaded the community on Tuesday and started shooting into the air, thereby killing the victims – three males and a female, who was said to be pregnant. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has confirmed that armed men shot at its officials at Awolowo Road, Ikoyi area of Lagos State. In a phone call with our correspondent, the agency’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi, stated that the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, while the operatives were trying to intercept a truck carrying cannabis. Primary school teachers in Kuje Area Council, FCT, on Monday, embarked on an indefinite strike over the alleged failure by the Council’s Chairman to reach agreements with the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT). The Rivers State Police Command has said its operatives smashed a child trafficking syndicate and arrested four suspects in Igwuruta and Omagwa, Obio/Akpor, and Ikwerre local government areas of the state.
