Some of the billboards of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi in Anambra have been pulled down. The action was carried out over the alleged inability of Obi to pay the State Government. The billboards mounted in strategic positions in some areas were removed by the Anambra Signage and Advertising Agency (ANSAA) at the weekend. Unknown gunmen on Saturday reportedly attacked the country home of the spokesperson for the Coalition of United Political Parties, Ikenga Ugochinyere, in the Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, killing four persons. Ten people died in a predawn auto crash that occurred on Saturday at the Oniworo stretch of the Lagos – Ibadan expressway. The accident, which happened around 4.30 am, also left two persons with varying degrees of injuries while seven came out of the wreckage unscathed.
