The abductors of two Osun farmers, Samuel Oyedotun and Tobiloba Fashola, have released their victims alongside one of the relatives that went to deliver the ransom. The Gambia’s Vice-President Badara Alieu Joof has died in India, President Adama Barrow has announced. The vice-president died after a short illness, although Mr. Barrow did not mention whether he was receiving treatment in India. Justice Abiola Soladoye of an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court, on Tuesday, convicted and sentenced a 27-year-old electrician, Olamide Ayodele, to life imprisonment for defiling the eight-year-old daughter of his benefactor.
