The Commissioner of Police in Niger, CP Bala Kuryar, on Tuesday decorated 460 newly promoted personnel of the command with their new ranks. Speaking at the Command headquarters in Minna, Kuryas said that the personnel from several divisions of the command were promoted based on their commitments to their duties. A driver, Silas Vincent, 38, on Tuesday was docked in a Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stabbing his passenger during arguments over transportation fare.
