Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has re-signed for Lyon on a free transfer – five years after leaving to join the Gunners for a then club record £46.5m. Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has directed the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to get involved in the manhunt for Sunday’s attack and massacre at a church in Owo, Ondo State. The minister gave the directive at the decoration of five Deputy Commandant-Generals of the NSCDC. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has called on the Federal Government to end the strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and other university-based unions. The NLC President, Mr Ayuba Wabba, made the call in his contributions to the report of the Director-General, International Labour Organisation, during the 110th International Labour Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
