One person has died and at least four others have been injured – some seriously – in a stabbing in a supermarket near Milan, northern Italy, reports say. They say an employee of the Carrefour supermarket died after a man started attacking people in the town of Assago. Among the injured was Pablo Mari, a football player on loan from Arsenal. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has called for more action as the federal government of Nigeria continues to provide succor to citizens affected by floods across the country. A political group in Nigeria has termed an ‘insult’ the comment made by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, that he has forgiven Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. A court on Thursday handed life imprisonment to a woman accused of drowning her husband in 2019 for a hefty life insurance payout. Her accomplice and boyfriend were handed a 30 years prison sentence. The Incheon District Court delivered the sentences to Lee Eun-hae, 31, and her extramarital lover, Cho Hyun-soo, 30, with an order for both to wear an electric tracking device for 20 years after serving the terms. Madu who was sworn in as Deputy Premier, was also assigned the portfolio of Minister of Skilled Trades and Professions.
