Southampton have confirmed the appointment of Nathan Jones as their new manager following the sacking of Ralph Hasenhuttl. Welshman Jones, 49, has left Championship side Luton Town to take up the role and has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract. A United States District Court document released by the Northern District of Illinois has indicted Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate over his involvement in drug trafficking. The document which contains a judgement docketed on July 26, 1993, and certified by Thomas O. Burton, clerk of the court, indicted Tinubu for heroin trafficking in the state of Illinois through a proxy organisation owned by Adegboyega Mueez Akande and subsequently forfeited the proceeds of the crime to the US government. The Nigerian Army has debunked the allegation that troops of the 82 Division invaded Amangu community in Abia over the abduction of a soldier who was on official leave.
