Nigeria will keep its petrol subsidy policy until mid-2023 and has set aside N3.36 trillion naira to spend on it, Finance Minister Zainab Ahmed said on Wednesday. Nigeria spent N2.91 trillion naira on fuel subsidy between January and September 2022, according to the NNPC, a cost the government has blamed for dwindling public finances.
