The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Tuesday raised the alarm about the activities of an amorphous group of so-called Civil Society Organizations who have recently embarked on a campaign of street protests, calling for the removal of the chairman of the EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday said that 240 polling centres will not be used in upcoming elections, as no one had chosen them due to insecurity in the surrounding areas.
