The Court of Appeal in Abuja on Tuesday ruled that Michael Enyong is not the rightful Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom state instead recognising Umo Eno as the party’s candidate. Enyong sued the INEC and the PDP (1st and 2nd defendants) on August 1, 2022 in Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/1295/2022 for refusing to recognise him as the party’s candidate.
