The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday announced Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara state as the winner of the March 18, 2023, presidential election. The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Umar Namadi has been declared the victor of the Jigawa governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). On Sunday in Dutse, Prof. Umar Zaiyan of Federal University Birnin Kebbi, the election’s returning officer, announced the results. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested two members of a drug cartel that operated between Nigeria, East Africa, and Europe. Six persons are missing after gunmen attacked six Hummer buses conveying Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials in Kogi state on Sunday.
