Real Madrid have completed the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga on a season-long loan from Chelsea, both clubs announced on Monday. His contract with the La Liga giants runs until 30 June 2024. West Ham United have signed England international midfielder James Ward-Prowse from Championship side Southampton. Chelsea have agreed a deal with Brighton worth a British record £115m for midfielder Moises Caicedo. The Blues are understood to be paying an initial £100m, plus £15m in performance-related add-ons. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) confirmed on Sunday that Roberto Mancini has resigned as coach of European champions Italy. The Nigerian economy grew by 2.4 per cent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2023, the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) says. OPEC made in its monthly oil market report for August said this was against a growth of 3.6 per cent in fourth quarter of 2022, an indicator of 2023 anticipated slowdown. Operatives of a Special Unit of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA on Sunday arrested three major illicit drug syndicates in an intelligence-led operations across parts of Lagos state.
