Michael Olise joins Bayern from Palace on five-year deal

Crystal Palace and French uner-21 player Michael Olise has signed a new four-year deal with the Premier League club amid interest from Chelsea. Report on Tuesday claimed the Blues had activated a release clause in the region of £35m for the winger. In a twist, Palace chairman Steve Parish on Thursday said the 21-year-old is not the leaving the club. Customs arrest fake CG over recruitment fraud

The Kebbi State Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has seized 4,200 litres of petrol, 46 bags of foreign rice, 88 bales of second clothes, and other smuggled items. The Command also handed over 81 tablets of Cannabis sativa, 138 packs of tramadol to National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in the state. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has opened negotiations with Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro over a new contract. “His contract ended in July and we’re now talking to him and his lawyers,” NFF president Ibrahim Gusau said on Wednesday.
