Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, was taken into custody on Monday for interrogation and other investigation activities by the Nigeria Police Force. Benjamin Hundeyin, the public relations officer for the Lagos State Police Command, revealed the arrest on social media. Naira Marley has been accused of killing or knowing about the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, known by the stage name Mohbad.
