Bandits have killed a policeman and have abducted 15 people including the wife of a monarch in the Northwest state of Zamfara, northern Nigeria. The unnamed policeman of the Maru Police Division was killed following an attack on the Ruwan Doruwa community in Maru Local Government Area. Former Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has launched a multi-million-pound case against the club at an employment tribunal for claiming unauthorised income deductions while facing criminal accusations. Members of the Osun chapter of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) embarked on a peaceful protest on Monday in Osogbo, picketing the office of the state’s chief judge, Adepele Ojo.
