Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun took to his Instagram page, @saidibalogun, to disclose the death of the veteran actor on Thursday. An unidentified soldier has blasted Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for arresting his comrade and three other motorcyclists for driving against traffic on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway. The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) stated on Thursday that its members have no plans to raise fuel prices. A Lugbe Grade I Area Court in Abuja on Thursday sentenced a 23-year-old guard, Peter Elisha, to 16 months imprisonment for stealing three bicycles worth N1.9 million. Mr Elisha pleaded guilty to two counts of joint act and theft. The convict had begged the court for leniency. The judge, Aliyu Kagarko, gave the convict an option of N60,000 fine.
