Seyi Makinde has attributed the cause of the explosion that rocked Ibadan metropolis to activities of illegal miners occupying one of the buildings in the Bodija area of the state capital. A Kaduna High Court on Tuesday sentenced an estate agent, Emmanuel Aaron, 42, to three years imprisonment for defrauding two accommodation seekers of N4.8 million. Justice Dairus Khobo convicted Mr Aaron of the two-count charge of obtaining money by false pretence preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Kaduna branch. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested a Milan, Italy-bound drug trafficking suspect at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, on January 11.
