The police command in Ebonyi on Wednesday confirmed the death of three men as a result of a cult clash in the Oriuzor community, Ezza North LGA. The Police Unit of the Nigeria Customs Service has arrested Abdul Rahman Ibrahim for engaging in fraudulent operations and impersonating the Comptroller-General of Customs and other high-ranking government officials. Contracts distribution to third party Bayer has announced that it is shutting down its operations in Nigeria, Africa’s largest economy as it re-strategises its operation on the continent. The pharmaceutical company said it would contract a third party to distribute its pharmaceutical products in Nigeria and three other African markets – Kenya, Ghana and Ethiopia. The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed the appeal filed by Aishatu Ahmed, also known as Binani, challenging the election of Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri. Binani is the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the state governorship poll. Delivering judgment, Justice John Okoro held that the suit lacked merit.
