The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested 58 suspected criminals after a raid across different locations in the state. The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, Mr Dankombo Morris, said this when he addressed newsmen in Yola, the state capital, on Tuesday. The Nigerian Communications Commission has announced that voice, and data services affected by undersea cable cuts which created internet outages in Nigeria and some Sub Saharan African countries have been restored. The 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has decried the rate of kidnapping in the country with about 700 persons held captive in three weeks. Men in army uniform plundered and destroyed homes in Nigeria’s oil-producing Delta state days after 16 troops dispatched to settle a land dispute were slain, according to residents, although the Nigerian army denied military involvement. Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnap fourteen people have at Dogon Noma- Ungwan Gamo community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The unfortunate incident comes barely a week after 61 people were kidnapped in Buda community also in Kajuru LGA of the State.
