A gas explosion in Imo state has killed at least one person

One person has been confirmed dead, while two others sustained injuries on Saturday in a gas tanker explosion at Ita-Oshin, Abeokuta, on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway. Florence Okpe, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) spokesperson, Ogun sector command, confirmed the incident to reporters in Abeokuta. The Plateau Environment Protection and Sanitation Agency (PEPSA) says 103 persons in Jos -Bukuru metropolis have been sanctioned by the mobile courts for violating the sanitation laws.
