The Lagos State Ministry of Health has reported 29 deaths and 579 cases since the cholera outbreak began two weeks ago. Speaking on Monday during an ongoing press briefing, the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, explained that the death rate was due to patients being presented late at the hospital or brought in dead. Three wolves in a zoo outside Paris attacked a 37-year-old woman leaving her fighting for her life, a source familiar with the case and local prosecutors said.
