Gunmen have abducted the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Mr Federal Oparmiola Otokito. Otokito was reportedly abducted by heavily armed men from his residence at Otuokpoti in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa state. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says from 1 February all importers and exporters will submit an electronic invoice (e-invoice) authenticated by dealer banks to the regulator. The CBN’s Guidelines on the introduction of e-valuation, e-invoicing for import and export in Nigeria’ released Friday, directed that the e-invoice should be submitted on the Nigeria single window portal- Trade Monitoring System set up by the apex bank.
