The Enugu zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested seven internet fraudsters. They are: Ebere Tochukwu; Onuh Harrison; Christian Ogbonna; Ojobo Kingsley, Eze Charles, Princewill Nwalu and Ekene Ibekaku. They were arrested at Loma Linda Extension Enugu, Enugu State. The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have taken hundreds of hostages in Kukawa, Borno state, locals and militia sources said Wednesday. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has explained that the country currently carries out between 3,000 and 6,000 daily COVID-19 tests. It said although the testing infrastructure available can conveniently carry out 15,000 daily COVID-19 tests, the country is yet to fully utilise this capacity, as only 40 percent of it is being deployed. Fire gutted a building in the palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi on Wednesday at around 1:14pm and it lasted 23 minutes before it was put out. A source in the palace said the fire service department arrived the palace six minutes after they were notified. Some leaders of the Islamic State of West African States (ISWAP) have been killed in a raid by the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole. Mali’s President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta has resigned, after being detained by soldiers on Tuesday, state TV reports.
