The Senate on Tuesday passed a bill to amend the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria Act. The passage of the bill followed the consideration of a report by the Committee on Aviation. Chairman of the Committee, Senator Smart Adeyemi, in his presentation, said the bill seeks to repeal the Federal Airports Authority Act and to enact the Federal Airports Authority Act 2021. The Lagos State Government on Tuesday suspended all NURTW activities at Eyin Eyo, Church Street and Idumota Bridge, in Lagos Island, indefinitely.
