Suspected bandits have killed the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Gidan Madi police station in Tangaza local government area of Sokoto state. The gunmen also killed another police officer said to be the DPO’s orderly before abducting two wives of a prominent businessman in the area. The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved the establishment of the Proceeds of Crime Recovery and Management Agency Bill. The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, stated this on Wednesday after this week’s virtual FEC meeting.
