Seven soldiers were killed and others wounded or missing after their patrol was ambushed in northern Burkina Faso, the centre of a five-year-old jihadist insurgency, security sources said on Thursday. Igbo groups have knocked activist, Kenechukwu Okeke, for suing 50 persons before a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Abuja over their alleged roles in last month’s #EndSARS protests.
