The Senate has commenced an ammendment to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Act 2004 with a view to close the loopholes in the drug law.  The move began in earnest on Tuesday with the consideration of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Act 2004 (Amendment) Bill, 2021, presently before the National Assembly. China has become the biggest European Union (EU)’s trading partner, having overtaken United States (US) last year. Digital currency Bitcoin has risen to a new record high of more than $50,000 (£36,000). The so-called cryptocurrency, which was created by an unknown inventor, has risen about 72% this year. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are generated by computers. Part of its supposed value comes from the finite number that can be computed. The Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Dingyadi says efforts are to install Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras on all major highways across the country to curb the rising cases of kidnapping.
