Gunmen have reportedly abducted dozens of girls during an attack on Federal College Of Forestry Mechanisation in Birnin Gwari LGA, Kaduna state. Eyewitnesses confirmed that the attack occurred in the early hours of Friday. The school is less than 15 kilometers to the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna. The Federal Government has officially confirmed the return of fuel subsidy, as the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, PPPRA, Thursday, fixed petrol pump price at N212.61 per litre, for month of March. The United Kingdom (UK) has announced the suspension of international recruitment of health and care workers from Nigeria and 46 other countries under a new regime of its updated Code of Practice (CoP). According to Africa Check, about 5,250 Nigerian-trained doctors are on the UK books as at April 2018, a rise of 10 per cent on the previous year.
