No fewer than five persons have been confirmed killed by bandits during an attack on Katarma village in Chikun local government area of Kaduna State. Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed the incident also said one person was injured during the attack. Commercial banks have reconnected MTN customers to banking channels after disconnecting them from their channels, including the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) and banking apps last Friday. The development was due to intervention of Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami and Central Bank of Nigeria Governor Godwin Emefiele. Men of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, popularly known as Amotekun, have arrested two suspected kidnappers and rescued three travellers along the Ifira-Akoko/Idoani Road in Ose Local Government Area of the state.
