Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry are the first players to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of fame

Former England striker Alan Shearer and ex-France forward Thierry Henry have become the first players to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame. Shearer is the Premier League’s record scorer, with 260 goals for Blackburn Rovers – whom he won the title with in 1995 – and Newcastle United. Henry scored a club record 175 Premier League goals in 258 appearances for Arsenal. He was the league’s top scorer in a season a record four times. Henry won the title twice and was part of the Arsenal side that went unbeaten in the league in the 2003-04 season.…

Saturday became the 12th consecutive day Nigeria recorded no fatality from COVID-19 that has caused over 2,000 deaths in the country and three million deaths globally since the pandemic began, it was learnt on Sunday. Bandits have attacked Haske Baptist Church in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing eight people while several worshippers were abducted. An unspecified number of worshippers also sustained varying degrees of injuries with a medical doctor, Zakariah Dogo Yaro of the Kaduna State Ministry of Health, among those killed during the incident.
