Operatives of the Uyo Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested a syndicate of 5 suspected land scammers in different locations of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State over alleged N23m scam. The Federal Government has reintroduced COVID-19 restrictions across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This new directive is to take effect by midnight of Tuesday, a member of the Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) on COVID-19, Dr Mukhtar Mohammed, declared. A United Kingdom-based Nigerian lawyer, Timothy E. Agbo, has described the country’s country’s digital switchover (DSO) programme as having neither a legal backing nor a coherent strategy.
