The World Health Organization (WHO) has classified the coronavirus variant first found in India last year as a “variant of global concern”. President Muhammadu Buhari has directed that a ministerial delegation be sent to Ghana to resolve the lingering conflict between Nigerian traders and Ghanaian authorities. Police personnel attached to Eziama Police Station in Aba, the commercial nerve of Abia State have reportedly arrested two members of a five-man armed robbery gang operating in the city and its environs. A suspected armed robber was set ablaze by an angry mob at the notorious Nkpor junction in Idemili North local government area of Anambra state. Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit (Taskforce) today served squatters at Iganmu Under Bridge (Whitesand) a three-day removal notice of all illegal structures, trucks and vehicles in the area.
