Following the recent abduction of 37 students at Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, the Federal Government has concluded plans to temporarily relocate the institution from Afaka to a safer location within Kaduna metropolis. The government also announced that, school fees of all the 37 kidnapped and released students have been waived throughout their study in the institution. Barely one week after the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was set ablaze in Enugu, the capital of Enugu State, another office of the commission in Igboeze South council area of the state, has been razed by hoodlums. It was learnt that the office situated at Ibeagwa town, was attacked Sunday night by invaders who set the fire at about 11 pm. The Anambra Police command on Sunday night killed four of the gunmen who invaded the state. Three operational vehicles of the hoodlums were recovered by the gallant policemen who repelled their attacks. A 400-level student of Aquaculture and Fisheries Management of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Olayinka Toyinbo, has been kidnapped by suspected gunmen in Odeda, Ogun.
