Former US President Donald Trump has told Fox Business that he sees Bitcoin as a “scam” affecting the value of the US dollar. “Bitcoin, it just seems like a scam,” Mr Trump said. “I don’t like it because it’s another currency competing against the dollar.” He added that he wanted the dollar to be “the currency of the world”. The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has ordered broadcast stations to stop using Twitter, after the Nigerian government suspended the social media platform indefinitely. NBC announced this in a statement issued by its Director General, Armstrong Idachaba, on Monday morning. Idachaba advised television and radio stations to de-install twitter handles and stop using it as a user-generated content (UGC) for news and programmes presentation especially phone-in. Following Saturday night attack on Igangan Community in Ibarapa, Oyo State, governors of Southwest states have ordered Amotekun to henceforth operate jointly.
