Court refuses Kanu’s application for transfer from Sokoto prison

The British High Commission has reacted to the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Dean Hurlock, a spokesperson of the British High Commission, said that they can confirm that Kanu has been arrested but that he was not apprehended in the UK.
