One killed as gunmen abduct 15 travellers in Benue road ambush

At least seven people have been killed and ten others kidnapped in separate attacks carried out by bandits in Chikun, Kajuru and Giwa Local Government Areas of Kaduna State. Among the victims were four persons who were kidnapped and shot to death by the bandits at Tsohon Gayan community in Chikun Local Government Area, while another two were also killed at Iri Station in Kajuru Local Government. NDLEA backs crop substitution to end war with cannabis farmers — Marwa

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)  Edo Command on Saturday arrested seven  farmers suspected to be cannabis farmers in Ughieudu, near Ehor, Uhumwonde Local Government Area of the state. The  News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the suspects were arrested in their suspected cannabis farms during an operation by personnel of the agency which lasted several hours. Vatican judge has ordered 10 people, including an Italian cardinal, to stand trial for alleged financial crimes. Cardinal Angelo Becciu has become the highest-ranked cleric in the Vatican to be indicted over charges that include embezzlement and abuse of office. The 73-year-old cardinal, who denies wrongdoing, was forced to resign last September, but retains his title. Massachusetts State Police have arrested militia in Boston

Residents in a suburban Boston neighborhood were asked to “shelter in place” early Saturday as an armed standoff between 8 to 10 militia members and police forced the closure of a US interstate highway. DSS detains El-Rufai after EFCC probe

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has withdrawn his children from public schools in Kaduna after getting wind of a plot to kidnap his son.
