Fear has enveloped residents of Mpape Phase 2, a community near the highbrow Maitama District, Abuja having been served a notice by suspected armed robbers. At least 13 people have died in an accident that occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Wednesday. 12 other persons were also injured in the fatal crash which happened opposite Wichtech Roofing and Pipes, outbound Lagos. The accident happened around 4pm, involving an unregistered waste disposal Volvo truck, and a commercial Mazda bus, marked APP 28 YE. At least 25 people have died in China’s flood-stricken central province of Henan, a dozen of them in a subway line in its capital Zhengzhou, and more rains are forecast for the region.
