Gunmen have raided a General Hospital within the Dansadau community in the Maru local government area of Zamfara State. According to reports, the assailants invaded the hospital in the early hours of Friday after which they whisked away a health worker and patient’s relation. The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU), the independent body created by the World Athletics that manages all integrity issues for the sport, announced the decision on Friday. The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced its intentions of introducing fifth-generation (5G) services across Nigeria. Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta, revealed this on Friday during a public enquiry on the requirements needed for the implementation of the the new technology. The Kano State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) confirmed the statistics on Friday in an interview with journalists in Kano.
