The identity of the two officers killed by bandits at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) on Tuesday morning has been revealed. A Lieutenant Commander simply identified as Wulah and Flying Lieutenant CM Okoronwo were identified as the victims who were shot dead during the invasion of Afaka barracks of the NDA. Two military officers have been killed by bandits after a raid on the permanent site of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna. One officer was reportedly abducted during the incident. A security source who spoke with Channels TV revealed that the bandits attacked in the early hours of Tuesday morning. At least, five persons have been killed while over fifty have been kidnapped by armed bandits in Gora Namaye village in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The incident which has been confirmed by the Zamfara state police command occurred in the early hours of Monday morning. A High Court in Rivers state has ordered the removal of Uche Secondus as the National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. The presiding judge of the court, Justice O. The Federal Government of Nigeria is set to receive $3.35 billion as its portion of special drawing rights (SDRs) from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The managing director of the IMF, Kristalina Georgieva, disclosed this in a statement on Monday. The SDRs were established by the United Nations specialised agency to augment its member countries’ official reserves, thereby boosting the liquidity of such countries.
