The Federal Government has stated that it may seek fresh legal action against embattled Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo (also known as Sunday Igboho). The latest development comes after the judgment of Oyo State High Court which awarded N20 billion in damages in Igboho’s favour. The director of Information Technology, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Rukiya Mohammed, on Wednesday said the apex bank has concluded plans to launch the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) on October 1.
