Landmine blast kills two soldiers in Benin Republic

The Police Command in Borno on Thursday, confirmed the killing of two persons after a suicide bombing around Muna garage in Maiduguri. Victor Isuku, the spokesman of the command communicated this in a statement in Maiduguri, Borno capital. “About 2106hours of Wednesday, an explosion occurred at Muna garage along Gamboru Ngala road Maiduguri. “Two persons, including the suicide bomber, died on the spot while a Mercedes-Benz car with registration number, AX 571 ABJ, parked by the roadside was damaged by the impact of the explosion,” Isuku said. Despite not getting the desired votes from Los Angeles during the United States Presidential election, President-elect Donald Trump says he will support the city’s 2024 Olympic bid. Trump gave the assurance in a phone call to Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti on Wednesday. Archaeologists in Egypt have unearthed what they describe as a city that dates back more than 5,000 years, containing houses, tools, pottery and huge graves. It lies by the river Nile, close to the Temple of Seti the First in Abydos. Experts say the size of the 15 newly discovered graves indicates the high social standing of those buried. It is believed the city was home to important officials and tomb builders and would have flourished during early-era ancient Egyptian times.
